Excellent news from Brussels!

Centre of Excellence NOMATEN created in NCBJ in Świerk, Poland will receive 15 million euro of support from the European Union. The project became the beneficiary of the Teaming EU competition. The NOMATEN CoE was created in 2018 as a result of an agreement between NCBJ and the Foundation for Polish Science. The project was prepared at NCBJ with the participation of the CEA (France) and VTT (Finland).


The NCBJ has been informed about the decision in the official letter from the EU Executive Agency for Scientific Research received on April 2, 2019.  The relevant documents would be prepared in within next few weeks and the final co-financing agreement should be signed this summer.

The purpose of the undertaking is to support entities of the higher education and science system that have received funding from the European Union budget in the competition H2020-WIDESPREAD-2018-2020/WIDESPREAD-01-2018-2019: Teaming Phase 2. in the preparation, implementation and updating of activities, maintenance of material resources necessary for carrying out activities, acquisition and modernization of scientific and research apparatus, maintenance and development of personnel potential necessary for the implementation of activities, and dissemination of the results of scientific activities.
