NOMATEN home institution National Centre for Nuclear Research deploys the 2nd edition of Future Leaders program in order to develop research, technical, administrative and functional abilities. Professor Paweł Sobkowicz, NOMATEN's director for scientific operations, will act as a mentor in this event on March 2022.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the leadership among research groups and the future management team of the National Centre for Nuclear Research. This year's list of mentors feature among others:

  • Professor Krzysztof Kurek, NCBJ's Director
  • Professor Ewa Rondio, NCBJ's Deputy Director
  • Professor Agnieszka Pollo, Astrophysics Division, NCBJ
  • Professor Paweł Sobkowicz, Director for Scientific Operations at NOMATEN, NCBJ

The purpose of the undertaking is to support entities of the higher education and science system that have received funding from the European Union budget in the competition H2020-WIDESPREAD-2018-2020/WIDESPREAD-01-2018-2019: Teaming Phase 2. in the preparation, implementation and updating of activities, maintenance of material resources necessary for carrying out activities, acquisition and modernization of scientific and research apparatus, maintenance and development of personnel potential necessary for the implementation of activities, and dissemination of the results of scientific activities.
