NOMATEN improves intercultural awareness and communication skills among its international team members (scientists with diverse national backgrounds and international experiences). The focus is placed on improving their ability to communicate in a constructive way, resolve conflicts and benefit from the team diversity.

The goals of the internal communication development training for NOMATEN scientists are to:

  • Increase general cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Develop understanding for the diversity of work - and communication preferences (incl. awareness of one’s own style)
  • Encourage reflection and constructive dialogue on team collaboration
  • Build trust and good foundation for further collaboration

Developing team communication training for NOMATEN scientists will take place on January 26th.

The purpose of the undertaking is to support entities of the higher education and science system that have received funding from the European Union budget in the competition H2020-WIDESPREAD-2018-2020/WIDESPREAD-01-2018-2019: Teaming Phase 2. in the preparation, implementation and updating of activities, maintenance of material resources necessary for carrying out activities, acquisition and modernization of scientific and research apparatus, maintenance and development of personnel potential necessary for the implementation of activities, and dissemination of the results of scientific activities.
