Solving thermo-mechanical problems with ABAQUS

Abstract:

The seminar will begin with an overview of Abaqus capabilities for steady-state and transient heat transfer analyses. Available thermal boundary conditions, loads, and interactions (including convection and radiation modes) will be discussed. The presentation will then focus on thermo-mechanical problems, covering both sequential and fully coupled analysis approaches.

Bio:

Dr inż. Jakub Michalski is an expert in computer simulations at TECHNIA with years of scientific and implementation experience. His main area of interest is numerical analysis (FEA). He utilizes these simulations both during professional work (for Dassault Systemes SIMULIA partner) and as a hobby. He mainly focuses on mechanics of materials. In 2023, he received PhD in mechanics of metamaterials at Poznań University of Technology.
