Expected Outcomes

Through its activities, the Industry Advisory Board contributes to:

  • increasing industrial collaboration and contract research,
  • accelerating technology transfer and commercialization,
  • strengthening Science-to-Business (S2B) activities,
  • improving the industrial relevance of research programmes,
  • increasing participation in industry-driven national and European projects,
  • attracting new industrial partners and strategic investors,
  • enhancing innovation capacity and technology readiness,
  • supporting regional and European economic development through advanced materials and manufacturing technologies,
  • reinforcing NOMATEN's position as a trusted industrial R&D partner and European Centre of Excellence.

 

The Industry Advisory Board meets periodically to review ongoing initiatives, identify new opportunities for collaboration, evaluate emerging industrial trends, and provide strategic recommendations supporting the sustainable growth and industrial impact of the NOMATEN Centre of Excellence.

The purpose of the undertaking is to support entities of the higher education and science system that have received funding from the European Union budget in the competition H2020-WIDESPREAD-2018-2020/WIDESPREAD-01-2018-2019: Teaming Phase 2. in the preparation, implementation and updating of activities, maintenance of material resources necessary for carrying out activities, acquisition and modernization of scientific and research apparatus, maintenance and development of personnel potential necessary for the implementation of activities, and dissemination of the results of scientific activities.
