20th International Conference on Plasma-Facing Materials and Components for Fusion Applications (PFMC-20)

In March 2019, I attended my first international conference, Plasma-Facing Materials and Components for Fusion Applications (PFMC-19). In May 2025, I had the pleasure of returning to this conference with a poster presentation, sharing my recent progress within the POLONEZ BIS 3 project. PFMC is a well-established and highly regarded conference for materials scientists working in fusion research, attracting participants from all over the world.

The event was particularly meaningful for me, as my former PhD supervisor, Dr. Dmitry Terentyev from SCK-CEN, Belgium, was invited as a keynote speaker. It was a great honor for me to present my work at PFMC-20.
