AMT 2026 symposium on computational materials for nuclear applications organized by NOMATEN

June 14–17, 2026 | Łódź, Poland

NOMATEN is organizing the “Computational Materials for Nuclear Applications” symposium as part of the Advanced Materials and Technologies (AMT) 2026 conference.

The event will take place on June 14–17, 2026 in Łódź, Poland and will bring together leading researchers working at the intersection of materials science, computational mechanics, and nuclear engineering.

The symposium focuses on understanding the performance and reliability of materials under extreme conditions, combining experimental techniques with advanced computational modeling approaches.

Key topics include:

  • Multiscale modeling of complex engineered materials
  • Radiation effects and materials performance in nuclear environments
  • Coupled multi-physics constitutive models for ductile metals
  • Structural failure prediction and damage mechanics
  • Data-driven and machine learning approaches in materials science
  • Design and qualification of materials for extreme environments

Organizers:

  • Dr. Karol Frydrych (NCBJ, NOMATEN CoE)
  • Dr. Tymofii Khvan (NCBJ, NOMATEN CoE)
