BIG SCIENCE & COE NOMATEN INNOVATION DAY 2024

BIG SCIENCE & COE NOMATEN INNOVATION DAY 2024

CoE NOMATEN co-organized the Big Science & NOMATEN Innovation Day on 19 November, 2024, at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) in Otwock. The Big Science & NOMATEN Innovation Day as year before, continued the tradition in organizing important events in terms of establishing CoE NOMATEN contacts with industry.

The main goal of 2024 event was to connect Polish companies with Big Science Community and research units, focusing on sharing experiences in R&D activities and exploring joint opportunities for research projects and engineering services. During the event, the possibilities of collaboration between NCBJ and the NOMATEN Centre of Excellence were highlighted, particularly in conducting materials research, forming technological consortia for R&D projects, and solving complex engineering challenges. The meeting also served as a platform for establishing business relationships with companies and discussing potential opportunities for joint participation in R&D projects. It was also a unique opportunity for Entrepreneurs from Poland and Europe to meet with representatives of European and Polish research centres to discuss opportunities for cooperation with NOMATEN and International Research Units such as CERN, Fusion for Energy, ESS, XFEL and to obtain contracts in the Big Science sector.
