NOMATEN at the 35th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine

The 35th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) was held on October 15-19, 2022 in Barcelona, Spain. The EANM Congress with more than 150 Sessions is the most valuable Nuclear Medicine Meeting worldwide. Each year, nearly 7,000 participants and 180 companies use the possibility to discuss the newest trends and findings in the field of Nuclear Medicine.

NOMATEN AUTUMN SCHOOL 2022

VTT hosted the next edition of NOMATEN Autumn School. Researchers from NCBJ in Poland and CEA in France visited Finland for the NOMATEN's internal conference in order to share the latest research outcomes and share the expertise. The School has been followed by a series of site visits at VTT and Aalto University.

NOMATEN and BlueScope Limited cooperation on FIB-SEM sample preparation and characterization of materials in practice

NOMATEN Centre of Excellence and BlueScope Steel Limited, Australia, have established the cooperation in the field of scientific research of which the aim is the exchange of knowledge and experience in  FIB-SEM (Focused Ion Beam – Scanning Electron Microscopy) sample preparation and characterization of materials in practice.

1st NOMATEN Conference on Materials Informatics has ended. It was the first of its kind in Poland.

NCBJ and NOMATEN organized the 1st NOMATEN International Conference on Materials Informatics. Materials informatics is a new field of research that uses advanced IT tools to better understand and design materials needed primarily for work in extreme conditions, as well as in medicine. This subject is dealt with, among others, by originators and organizers of the conference – scientists from the NOMATEN Center of Excellence operating in Świerk.

Register for the 1st NOMATEN International Conference on Materials Informatics (June 1-3, Warsaw, Poland)

The NOMATEN Centre of Excellence is organizing a conference on June 1-3, 2022, with the focus on the, widely defined, interplay of materials science with machine learning, that will feature presentations and tutorials from renowned experts in applied mathematics, drug design, material science, and renewable energy.

NOMATEN scientists at CECAM event "Understanding plastic deformation via Artificial Intelligence"

NOMATEN CoE Director prof. Mikko Alava is one of the founders of the ongoing CECAM conference. In addition, a number of NOMATEN and NCBJ scientists participate in this event, whereas Stefanos Papanikolaou and Silvia Bonfanti will give talks during the afternoon session on Wednesday March 30.
